Samsung has recently introduced its latest additions to the premium mid-range segment, the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 smartphones. While the Indian pricing for these devices remains undisclosed, eager consumers can anticipate the revelation during the upcoming Samsung Live event scheduled for March 14 at 12:00 PM IST.

Both the phones feature a unique Key Island design with separate bumps for the power button and volume keys on the right side. Additionally, the Galaxy A55 sports a metal frame, while the A35 comes with a plastic build.

Samsung Galaxy A35 and A35 Launched

Display:

The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 are equipped with a vibrant 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display featuring a high refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring smooth and fluid visuals. With a peak brightness of 1000nits and the Vision Booster feature, users can enjoy enhanced clarity even in bright outdoor environments. Additionally, the screens are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, offering durability and peace of mind against scratches and damage.

Chipset and Storage:

Under the hood, the Galaxy A35 houses a 5nm-based Exynos 1380 chipset, while the A55 features a more powerful 4nm-based Exynos 1480 chipset. Both smartphones offer various storage configurations to suit different user preferences, including options for 128GB or 256GB of internal storage paired with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM.

Camera:

In the camera department, the Galaxy A35 sports a versatile triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 13MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 steps up its photography game with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens on the rear, accompanied by a 32MP front-facing camera.

Battery:

Both smartphones feature a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.

Other Features:

Running on the latest Android 14-based OneUI 6.1, the Galaxy A35 and A55 offer a seamless and intuitive user experience. Both will provide 4 years of Major OS updates and 5 years of security patches. They also come with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, providing added durability for everyday use. Connectivity options include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, while dual stereo speakers deliver immersive audio experiences. Both the phones also have Samsung Knox Vault for storing secure data.

Color Options and Pricing:

The Samsung Galaxy A35 and A55 are available in a range of vibrant colors, including Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Navy, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Lemon. As for pricing, Galaxy A35 starts at €380 and Galaxy A55 at €480.
