Samsung recently introduced its popular A series smartphone, the Galaxy A55. The phone runs on the Exynos 1480 processor, marking an upgrade from its predecessor, the A54. Additionally, the price of the phone has been raised. Now, there are rumors circulating about Samsung’s plans to launch its M series smartphone, the M55. While details are limited, let’s explore what we know so far.
Renowned tipster Mukul Sharma on X(Twitter) has exclusively confirmed the arrival of the Samsung M55, revealing that it will be powered by a Snapdragon processor. While the exact Snapdragon chipset remains uncertain, recent launches such as the OnePlus Ace 3V in China have featured the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. Therefore, there’s speculation that the M55 could also adopt a similar mid-range processor. Another possibility is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. However, further details are currently unavailable.
Additionally, Mukul Sharma shared further insights into the upcoming Galaxy M55. The phone is expected to offer up to 12GB of RAM, suggesting that the base variant may start with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, in line with current trends. Furthermore, Sharma mentioned that the Galaxy M55 will be one of the slimmest models in the Galaxy M series. He also confirmed that the launch of the Galaxy M55 in India will not be a standalone event; it will be accompanied by the launch of the Galaxy M15. Therefore, we can expect to see the introduction of two M series smartphones simultaneously. As more updates become available, we will continue to provide you with the latest news.
