New pictures of the Galaxy Z Fold6 are out, and now it’s the Z Flip 6’s turn! Some leaked images, not officially confirmed, suggest what the Z Flip 6 might look like. These images come from OnLeaks and SmartPrix. The phone is expected to be revealed in July during the Galaxy unpacked event.
The new phone closely resembles the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which isn’t surprising since Samsung made significant changes just last year. The previous model had a larger cover display and an improved hinge. It appears that Samsung has focused on refining the design over the past year rather than making major changes.
Based on these images, the Galaxy Z Flip features a 6.7-inch inner OLED screen, similar to the Z Fold5, complete with a punch hole camera. On the front, there’s a 3.4-inch cover display housing a dual camera setup. Initial reports hinted at a 50MP main camera, replacing the 12MP camera from the previous Flip phone, but Smartprix claims it will stick with the 12MP dual camera setup.
When unfolded, the Z Flip6 is said to measure 165.0 x 71.7 x 7.4mm, slightly larger than the Z Flip5’s 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9mm. This suggests that the phone has become slightly thicker. This change could be because of the larger battery, going from 3,700mAh last year to a reported 4,000mAh battery this year.
Based on the images, it appears that the Flip Phone will be available in two colors: Lavender and Mint. It’s likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset and run on Android 14 with OneUI 6.1, featuring Galaxy AI capabilities.
