Realme GT 6 Launched with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and 6000 Nits Brightness

The Realme GT 6 is making a comeback to global markets, with launches in Milan and India. This powerful flagship phone is the first Realme GT model to be sold worldwide in over a year. Last month, Realme introduced the Realme GT 6T in India, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. Now, let’s dive into the detailed specifications of this smartphone.

The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED display, branded by Realme as the “Hyper Display.” This display uses an 8T LTPO panel, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. It boasts an impressive peak brightness of 6000 nits, the highest ever on a smartphone according to Realme, ensuring excellent visibility outdoors. However, this 6000 nits brightness is only achievable in very small areas when viewing HDR scenes with specific colors.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a popular choice for mid-range flagship smartphones, the phone offers options of 12GB and 16GB of RAM and comes with 512GB of internal storage. However, there is no option to expand the storage.

The smartphone boasts an impressive camera setup with three rear cameras. It has two 50MP sensors: the main camera features a Sony-LYT808 sensor, an f/1.7 lens, and OIS, while the second is a 50MP telephoto camera with an f/2.0 lens and a 1/2.8″ sensor. The third rear camera is an 8MP ultrawide with an f/2.2 lens. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera with an f/2.5 lens and a 1/2.74″ sensor. Realme has incorporated AI enhancements, called NextAI, which include AI Night Vision for better video in low light and AI Smart Removal to eliminate distractions in photos.

The phone is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery and supports 120W SuperVOOC fast charging. Realme claims the battery will retain over 80% of its capacity after 1,600 charging cycles. It can charge from 1% to 50% in just 10 minutes and reach 100% in 26 minutes.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 with the custom Realme UI 5.0. It will receive four years of Android upgrades and security patches, ensuring support up to Android 18.

The Realme GT 6 is available in two colors: Razor Green and Fluid Silver. It comes in three variants: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage (INR 41,000), 12GB RAM with 256GB storage (INR 43,000), and 16GB RAM with 512GB storage (INR 45,000). You can purchase it through Realme’s official Indian website, Flipkart, and mainline channels.

Realme offers a bank discount of Rs 4,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 on the 8GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB models. The 12GB+512GB variant has a bank discount of Rs 3,000 along with the same exchange offer. Additionally, Realme provides six months of screen damage protection.
