Nothing Phone (2a) launched with MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro and Affordable Pricing

Today, Nothing, the company, has unveiled its new cost-effective phone, the Nothing Phone (2a). Surprisingly, it’s even more budget-friendly than anticipated. It maintains the unique features of the Nothing Phone, such as the transparent back and Glyph Interface with LED lights.

The LED lights on the back of the phone don’t cover most of the area. The phone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset – built on TSMC’s 4nm process, tailored by Nothing in partnership with MediaTek for this device. Now, let’s delve into the detailed specifications.

Phone (2a) offers three variants of RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB, India exclusive 8GB + 256GB, or 12GB + 256GB, catering to your storage needs. The phone has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera on the rear. It has a 32MP front camera for selfies same as in Nothing Phone (2).

Battery and other features

The Phone (2a) packs the 5,000mAh battery, supported by 45W fast charging, no charger is included in the box. Phone has latest Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14 out-of-the-box. Company has promised 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches. Phone also has features include an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and dual stereo speakers.
