The newest Motorola flip phone, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra, has just been launched in India. This model offers significant upgrades from the previous Razr 40 Ultra and includes Google Gemini support. Read on for details about its pricing, availability, and special offers.

Starting with the display, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra features a 6.9-inch foldable main screen with a 165Hz FHD+ pOLED display, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The phone also has a 4-inch 165Hz LTPO AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 1272 x 1080 pixels and a peak brightness of 2400 nits. Screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It features a 4,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has a dual-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2X optical zoom. For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera. This model is the first Razr phone with an IPx8 water resistance rating and also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is the first flip phone to feature Google Gemini on the cover display, offering tools for learning, writing, planning, and more. It also includes several AI features such as AI generative wallpaper, Magic Canvas, AI Adaptive Stabilization, AI photo enhancement, AI Action Shot, and AI Auto Focus Tracking. Additionally, it comes with Google Photos AI features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra runs on Android 14 with Hello UI on top and promises five years of security patches and three years of Android version upgrades. It is priced at Rs 99,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant and is available in three colors: Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz.

There is an early bird discount of Rs 5,000, plus an additional Rs 5,000 off with leading bank cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 89,999. The phone will be available on Amazon during the Prime Day sale on July 20-21. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will also be available for purchase through Motorola’s Indian website and leading retail stores, including Reliance Digital.
