Today, iQOO launched their latest mid-range smartphone, the iQOO Z9, featuring several improvements. As previously announced, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. Let’s explore its specifications, pricing, and availability in detail.

iQOO Launching on March 12

The phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, offering a smooth experience with its 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It also boasts a peak brightness of 1,800 nits and is protected by Dragontrail Star 2 Plus glass at the front.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, the iQOO Z9 comes equipped with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and offers storage options of 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2, with the flexibility of expanding storage further via a microSD card.

When it comes to cameras, the iQOO Z9 is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera featuring OIS, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For video recording, you can choose between 4K@30fps and 1080p@30/60fps. Additionally, there’s a punch hole housing a 16MP selfie camera, capable of recording 1080p@30fps videos.

The iQOO Z9 comes with a powerful 5,000mAh battery, supporting 44W fast charging. Additionally, iQOO will include a charger in the retail box for added convenience. However, this time, the iQOO Z9 does not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The handset runs on the Funtouch 14 custom skin based on Android 14. The phone boasts IP54 dust and splash resistance, along with Bluetooth 5.3, dual stereo speakers, WiFi 6, and support for 8 5G bands.

The iQOO Z9 is available in two stylish colors – Brushed Green and Graphene Blue. With prices starting at INR 19,999 for the 128GB storage variant and INR 21,999 for the 256GB storage variant. Customers using ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank Credit/Debit cards can enjoy a discount of INR 2,000. The iQOO Z9 will be available for purchase starting March 13th at 12 PM and for others on March 14th at 12 PM on Amazon India and iQOO.com.
